  41. Please make sure that you have the latest version of Directx installed
  42. on your computer.
  43. The most recent version at the time this file was written is Directx9.
  44. You will find a version of Directx9 that can be installed on your PC
  45. on the game's CD-ROM in the DirectX folder.
  46. It is recommended to close any running application before launching
  47. the game so that all resources can be made available for it.

  50. III. 3D VIDEO CARDS

  53. Chaos League uses Direct3D.
  54. Many 3D video cards are compatible with this mode. However,
  55. performance can widely vary depending on the quality of the drivers
  56. installed.

  58. The latest version of DirectX, DirectX9, is available on the game's
  59. CD.
  60. Its installation is normally offered during the installation of the 
  61. game.
  62. Should you need to re-install DirectX9 later, launch the DXSETUP.EXE 
  63. which is located in the DirectX folder of the Chaos League CD-ROM.

  66. drivers installed.
  67. Card manufacturers often update their drivers and it is possible to
  68. download updates on the manufacturer's website.
